Celebrating Over 25 Years of creating affordable housing for underserved populations
IHDC’s mission is to develop long term affordable housing for low-income, underserved populations in collaboration with local communities. As a nonprofit 501(c)3, IHDC develops high-quality, financially and environmentally sustainable, affordable housing for low-income individuals and families with supportive services as a foundational strategy. In its 25 year history, IHDC has created 16 affordable housing developments that ranged in size from 15 to 135 units. Six of the developments were renovations, while ten were new construction. In total, IHDC has generated 768 permanent supportive housing units and 75 transitional units.
